1. Agreement

By using free-invoicegenerator.net you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.

2. The service

We provide a free, browser-based tool for generating invoice documents, plus related educational content. No account is required. The service is provided as-is and we may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

3. Your invoices are yours

You retain all rights to the content you enter and to the invoice documents you generate. We claim no licence over your invoice data, logo or client information, and we do not receive it — generation happens locally in your browser.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the tool to create fraudulent, deceptive or fake invoices.
• Do not impersonate another business or misrepresent tax registration details.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not scrape or republish site content at scale without permission.
• Do not use the service in violation of applicable law or sanctions.

5. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of the invoices you issue, including correct tax rates, mandatory invoice fields in your jurisdiction, invoice numbering integrity and record retention. Verify every total before sending an invoice to a client.

6. Intellectual property

The site design, template layouts, code and written content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use the templates to produce your own invoices, but you may not redistribute or resell the templates, code or articles as your own product.

7. No professional advice

Content on this site is general information about invoicing practice. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not create a professional relationship. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your business.

8. Data loss

Drafts are stored only in your browser. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browser or changing device can permanently remove them. We cannot recover drafts. Download and archive the PDF of every invoice you issue.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, delayed payment by your clients, or tax penalties, arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.

The site may contain advertising and links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices.

12. Governing law
