Billing hours, days and projects with it

For hourly work, set the quantity to hours and the rate to your hourly rate, one line per task or period. For day rates, the same fields work with days. For a fixed fee, use a single line with quantity one and describe the scope in the item description so there is no ambiguity about what the fee covered.

If you invoice the same client monthly, save the invoice as a draft and duplicate it next month — the invoice number increments and you only change the dates and the work described.
